Refund Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This policy applies to paid plans on algₐ purchased through Paddle, our merchant of record for checkout, renewals, and billing support.

It is intended to align with Paddle's buyer protections, including a minimum 14-day refund window described in Paddle's Buyer Terms.

14-day refund window

You can request a refund within 14 days of the charge date for an initial purchase or renewal. This includes mistaken purchases, duplicate charges, and situations where you decide the plan is not right for you.

How requests are reviewed

We review refund requests against the charge date, account details, and billing records. Normal use of the service during the 14-day window does not by itself make a request ineligible. We may ask for basic information to confirm the purchase and investigate duplicate, unauthorized, or abusive transactions.

After 14 days

Charges older than 14 days are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or needed to correct a billing error such as a duplicate charge.

Subscriptions and renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Canceling stops future renewals but does not by itself reverse a charge that already happened. If you want a refund for a recent charge, request it within the 14-day window above.

How to request a refund

Email support@alga.website from your account email with your purchase date and the email address used at checkout. If you have a Paddle receipt, include it. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible and, when approved, the refund will be returned to the original payment method.

Processing times after approval depend on Paddle and your payment provider or bank.

Paid access after a refund

If a refund is approved, the related paid access may be removed and your account may return to the Free plan.

This policy works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
